Seems everyone had a good holiday yesterday. I'm hoping the Sabres can get out of their funk tonight. While the record doesn't look good, they haven't been playing poorly. They hung around in pretty much every one of those games, and to me, that's a bit of a victory itself. That stretch was not easy and had it been last years team, they'd have gotten relatively thumped each night.

Can't decide if I want to win tonight or not.

"A shot chart compiled by HockeyStats.ca showed the Sabres attempted 22 shots from inside the faceoff circles. They connected on just one. Buffalo’s season shooting percentage is 6.8 percent, tied with Carolina for 28th in the NHL."

Seems almost like a sick joke. They're getting quality chances, just a ridiculously low return on the shots. I would assume some of those shots are going to have to go in sooner or later.
