He was around a few days ago for a bit. He's probably busy or something. I also talked to him the night of the Sharks game briefly.

Two true stories:

I was standing on a corner one rainy afternoon in Hamburg, next to an old lady and her granddaughter. The traffic all cleared so I started to cross the street - I was getting soaked because I didn't have an umbrella.

The old lady started scolding me in German: "don't cross the street before the light says go! What kind of example do you think you are setting for my granddaughter?" I said "ma'am I don't have an umbrella, I'm just trying to get out of the rain." She answered "Just because you are a fool it doesn't mean you should show my granddaughter how to be one, too."

Another time I was in Austria waiting to get on a bus. The bus pulled up to the left side of the bus stop and I waited til everyone got off. Then I tried to get on. The bus driver scolded me and said "Not here, this is not where you get on!" He closed the doors and pulled up 15 feet to the right side of the bus stop, then opened the doors and said "THIS is where you can get on."

Rules are rules. Everything is in order. We could use some more of that in other parts of the world.

This rotation will either exceed last years or completely far apart based on who they're committed too.

There's a Phillip K. Diick (same guy that wrote the book that became Blade Runner) novel I happen to be reading right now titled The Man In the High Castle, which supposes Japan and Germany divvy up the world after they win WW2...Germany hopes to conquer Mars while Japan wallows in nostalgia for all things "Americana". The German Chancellor dies and there's a big power vacuum that needs to be filled.

Is there really a show based on that? Where?

As long as everybody does what is expected, nobody gets upset at all. You just have to know the rules and respect them.

And the trains are always on time.

We beat the preds tonight 2 - 1.

Kane - assist from Eichel.

Ugly goal, assist from Risto (who will NOT be nominated for the Norris).

I could take or leave Kaleta, but this was always my defence for him when people bagged on him. Its a good strategy to be able to kill penalties with your bottom 6 and then put your top 6 on when its over. We could use a few players like him (when he isnt playing stupid.)
With that said, anyone know whats up with McCormik? (Sp?)

I use to think this way too but over the last 2 seasons kaleta has become an after thought. The guy really is a waste of a roster spot.

I think if you look at him as just a fighter, absolutely. Because he wasnt one and he certainly wasnt a scorer.
I've just never been a fan of tiring out your top 6 trying to kill penalties.
Again, i dont care if its Kaleta or Legwand, i just really dont want to see O'rilley or Eichel blocking shots.
Again, more of a philosophy than an endorsement of that specific player.

I will be using my laser pointer to distract Rinne tonight... Hopefully he's not on the bench when I put my diabolical plan in place.
