Actually that's part of the reason im convinced they'll move it.
New Jersey did the same. If you're hosting the draft, you want your team to be the star of it.
Drafting some guy at 6th overall is ok, trading it in a deal for a #1 D-man is better. |

I think gionta hogging that ice time makes it more of a concern than it should be.
In theory it's Reinhart-Ennis-McGinn? Not perfect but not bad either. They may just keep reinhart there or switch him with O'Reilly so that he can play on Eichel's wing.
Edit: Addressing the defence solves two problems. You get some that can help push ice time down, takes the pressure and hopefully reduces the number of high scoring chances against. And if he's a puck mover and great skater it helps the forwards out as well. |

We just have nothing in the pipeline with the top 6 at RW. That's what concerns me. That's why I would like to see them make a play for Okposo in free agency.
We need to find a RW ROR can feed to. |

We don't? If you move O'Reilly over or keep Reinhart there you've got
O'Reilly/Reinhart
Ennis
McGinn
Baptiste
Bailey
Karabacek
Fasching
Olofsson
And potentially another one in this years draft. |

I know you don't think we can score Okposo and Yandle at free agency but with the cap space we have we should go hard after them. You lose one but maybe get the other.

None of those guys tell me they are 1st line RW. Do you? A lot of potential but no sure fire guarantees. Now you do have a good idea if Reinhart is at center and ROR on the wing. It possibly solves it. It still makes me nervous, RW.
ROR is still the best bet at 1C. |

It's not that i think we can't score, it's that the amount we'd have to pay them to come here would just be bad cap management. Id rather they make a trade for a cost controlled player. |

For this year? yes. Long term? I seriously doubt it.

Making predictions long term is extremely difficult. What I see out of ROR on the dot is he prefers to be there. |
