No....ROR wanted to the keys to the Avs kingdom. This is the MacKinnon era, ROR love ya, but this wasn't the place for you.
Hinote was awesome too...he was Sakics favourite unsung hero linemate in the finals. Weird how sometimes it takes those heart and soul guys to make a line go - DDM-Coga
I think it was that. Just always liked watching him with Sakic. |

Really, Sakic over Forsberg? Or is it just because Sakic played his entire career with Quebec/Colorado? But you have Bourque over Foote. No Ozolinsh? He was really good for them. Certainly better than DeVries. and Klemm. Steve Reinprecht was underrated, didn't put up spectacular numbers, but was a good solid player. I'd say he was the Jochen Hecht of the Avs. |

Loblaws grocery store gave away a collectors catalogue and stamps (the more you bought the more stamps you got. The stamps were all NHL players you could paste in the catalogue.
It took me forever to get both Potvin brothers. - Der Kaiser

that was just the 2001 cup team lines, not the all time team
Like I said I was spoiled back in the day
If I was tossing out all times team, I would have Kamensky, Lemieux, and Deadmarsh on that team in a heart beat |

I'm normally on the opposite end of this statement, and 89 is goin to lose his $hit when he reads this, but after coming from the Amerks game I was reminded of why 36 was a Sabre as long as he was. Boy, could we use a guy like PK or McCormick on the 4th line. |

If PK has his head out of his ass, he is a perfect 4th liner |

I get what you are saying. A guy who is total fire and just glad to be there. Truthfully, the 2010-2012 Sabres needed that. While the core floated through their games, they needed a spark. Now we dominate most teams statistically, we need mofo's to put the puck in the net and take pressure off of everyone so they can stop squeezing their sticks so tight. |

sabres are 28th in penalty kill %
I really expected them to be in the middle of the pack
just one more reason why they could use kaleta |

He's focused 99% of the time, it's just that when he's not he does something really really stupid. Ok, not 99%, but you get my meaning.
