With baertchi seemingly in the press box I would like to see Vey back in for a few NHL games. There will be more injuries. I'm not saying Vey is ready but worth a look.

The level of competition is too different. As a player I would love to represent my country but I would rather play at the highest level of hockey and win there. It would feel like a demotion to leave the NHL.

Any thoughts on possibly trading for Juulsen from MTL? Rumors about them being into Vrbata.

Good afternoon boys, golf tourney was a blast…only a few headaches in the morning, lost 600 bucks in three days so not bad at all.

I saw a few highlights of the Minny game at the sports pub in the Paris Hotel down there but haven't watched a game since they beat Chicago. Has Pedan played a game yet?

Sending Jake back to Major Junior would be a mistake in my opinion, it's the defensive side of the game he needs to work on, he won't learn that in Calgary!

I so wish they had the three year rule, not four, that would allow 19 year old Junior eligible players to be sent to the AHL, if anything, that's where he would and should be learning to pro game. Look how much better Shinkaruk looks compared to when he got there.

Fair enough just that I see vey's points are up and maybe an NHL look would be good. Baertchi may not be scoring but he is also pretty soft. Another reason for the press box tours.
