KHL doesn't list the salaries ,at least I haven't seen anything. He plays for a poor club, one of the cheapest but it is tax free. I imagine it will be in the Bartowski range

Yep. and it is hard to make any future plans with him in mind because we don't know if he will ever come over here.

I want to see Pedan in the lineup. someone was mentioning JV getting jumped after a hit. I hate when there is a scrum around the net after the whistle in the offensive zone and our d just skate away, don't necessarily want to see then jump in and get the face off moved outside the blue line, but I want it to look like they want to get involved, and get involved if they have to. (thinking of Weber as much as any other dman)

Half of them are not getting paid from what I am hearing and the oil rich league is going to bust soon. So I don't think getting him to come over here on a league minimum would be to hard knowing he is going to get a pay check every month is a good deal. All he has to do is learn a bit of english.

I look at it this way , would I rather pay Weber or the big Russian 1.5 to play here. I don't mind paying him a little extra seeing he is already playing pro Hockey. If you can sign him 4 years 1.5 and lock him up for a few years why not. if he is a bust then send him down and he would only cost 600K in cap space but probably bolt bak to Russia

Where other teams have their grit, we have traditionally had more fringe skill/utility players. Have a grit/tough guy in the bottom pairing of your d. One or two on the 4th line. and another gritty winger or two on the second/3rd line.

Frustrating at times when we are getting outplayed, puck is in our zone, and still nobody wants to separate the opposing player from the puck.

It has been better this season than last, but it is a joke to bring in a guy or two to be the toughness and they don't get much support from the rest of the team.
