For sure and I ain't losing sleep either just would have been nice to see JB shake up the D a bit. I hope it's a foregone conclusion that Hamhuis is gone at TDL.

I do hope we pick up Byf this summer for 4 years. It could make this team a lot harder to play against if we have a scoring touch from the back end. I also think Hutton will be a very good player next year

Everyone is down on Byf but I think he is one of the top 5 defence in the league. I would take him on my team any day of the week. He is exactly what this team needs.

Agree Buff and Lucic will make teams arriving in Van think twice about what's going to happen on the ice and that's exactly what we need. plus they can contribute offensively as well.

That says a lot about where this team is going this season.

Have to take the Sedin approach and don't get to high or low. We had a horrible stretch after our hot start, played a couple more games than some other teams.

Sedins were sort of slumbering and have recently come alive, went from over the hill to they still got it and people take these guys for granted.

I think we are on course but the playoff picture won't be clear for some time or until something like an injury happens or we get on a winning streak.

What is the team identity this week?

I think we will know how close we are to the playoff picture by Christmas.

But we were in a playoff spot at American thxgiving so we have a 79% chance of making it in...

Have you seen some of these mock draft sites lately. They have canucks picking anywhere from 3rd to 19th. I don't think anyone knows what we have here in Van. Canucks are an enigma.

Hey, if one of the Sedins goes down, we could get a better pick.

Still against a tank. the, be careful what you wish for, line comes to mind when tanking. You get so bad, get some picks, some picks don't turn out to be as good as hoped for, the 1st rounder has some issues, and the tank turns into the deepest rut.

When I was looking at Henrik Sedin, he had his best year when Daniel only played 63 games and Daniel had his the following season, and Henrik played them all.

I always thought Henrik was the better player, but Daniel was the better scorer and looks like he is into the game more this season, feeling a little better in the head? the best he's played since the Keith hit?

I'm still ranting about the lack of fan love for Daniel's hat trick last week, as well as shouting out Thatcher Demko and Brock Boeser, in today's new blog:
