I have no problem with a 1a or 1b plan in terms of the goaltending, but I do wish Mason or Nuveirth would grab the bull by the horns and try and take over as starter. Obviously with back to back over the weekend you give each a start,but it seems it has been awhile since either goalie got consecutive starts. Unless I'm forgetting something?

And to echo the sentiment of Medvedev, keep him in the lineup. Guy can make and create plays.

When each one is getting shutouts, it's fair to say they've both been grabbing the bull by the horns at the same time. Mase had a terrific month of November, Neuvy a terrific season. Mase will get the majority of starts if they're playing equally though.

there's no reason to move him. nothing they bring in return would equal the value he provides in goal...in my opinion. he's been stellar all year. they need to find another way to fix the broken parts...the biggest way they'll do that is with time.

stolarz has had a solid year from what i've read. you're just looking for solid progress and i think that's happening.

There is plenty of reasons to move him. The Flyers are not contenders and likely wont make the playoffs. Why should they hold on to a backup that is good enough to be a starter when they can sell him? Flyers should be selling whomever they can if they are nt in Phillys future

Well Nuevirth isn't that old. You can run them as a tandem and keep both for the future.

It's great Stolarz is playing so well but he needs a lot of experience still. He isn't going to get that sitting on the bench and playing every 5th game.

IIRC Mase and Neuvirth are both signed through next year.

I'd keep them both for now, at next season's trading deadline, then re evaluate.
