Doesn't mean it will work for everybody you call up.........Morin is probably better in the AHL for now.

I would want to see him do well if they did make that move.

This is a really cool site. Thanks.

Was there any acuteness to it? Like did he get hit then hobble off or was it more a "I can't deal with this anymore" type ordeal?

That sounds even worse than when someone had a "tangled buttock" a few years ago.

IIRC Mase and Neuvirth are both signed through next year.

I'd keep them both for now, at next season's trading deadline, then re evaluate.

I don't remember a specific injury or incident. It sounds like the injury causes chronic low abdominal and groin pain.

People speculated he was injured because his play took a severe turn for the worse. Then he missed a few practices while still playing in a couple games, I believe. Then he got surgery so it was the can't deal type injury.

I think he could be ready before the end of this season, with a very good shot at the start of next season.

He's got to stay on the ice, he's hurt often or at least it seems that way.

Nothing is happening at the moment. Not sure many teams have the ammo to make that kind of deal happen outside London.

I remember hearing Kingston and some other team.

But on London....fireworks. I'd like to see him develop line chemistry with future Flyer/one game wonder Tkachuk

I'm starting to fantasize about Tkachuk as a Flyer. Talk about an ideal player for a organizational need.

Where do you think we'd have to pick to get him? 4/5?

(I still have some doubts the team will finish quite that low. Hell trading people and bringing up young guys might improve the team)

That'd be the low end. He could go top 3. Barring injury, I doubt he's there outside top 5

Carchidi's throwing around the cutting edge analytical stat "Combined Plus/Minus" again in his latest article. He should know readers don't care for that fancy jargon nonsense.

He was writing about the second line and saying they've been not producing lately, which while true is conveniently only half the story. No mention of them being overdue or playing well, or hopefully a harbinger of things to come. Just a mention of their combined plus minus up until this point to indirectly and misleadingly say they've been playing poorly. Maybe his fancy stats just go over my head
