The difference with McCann and Boeser is McCann has signed a contract with Canucks . I believe we own his ass for at least 7 years now. Boeser has not signed a contract yet

The way he seems to be playing in the NCAA, he may think why should he go to the Canucks when he can choose his team if he waits. That said the Canucks were smart during the prospect thing they did at Shawnigan featuring him and having him blog to the fans. Could make it harder for him to cut and run.

Some of you are (frank)in unbelievable always pessimistic and fearful of the worst for no reason...what's wrong with y'all? EVERY player drafted can either re-enter the draft after two years if unsigned, CHL, or in the case of an NCAA player become a free agent after four years of college on August 15th of the year of graduation.

Boeser is excited about being drafted by the Canucks and a chance to play in the NHL.

Carol,

I was at the game and everyone in my section though Henrik had two and not Daniel. There was plenty of confusion...I thought it was Daniel but I don't wear hats as I usually attend games for work. That is a big reason as well. It's a very corporate crowd and most people wearing hats are in the 2nd level. This is a non-issue as far as I'm concerned. And like Vantel said, hats are awfully expensive to be tossing them on the ice

How could people not know who scored the goals for their team in a game they are attending? Are they at the game for the hotdogs only or are most people in the lower bowl (frank)ing idiots?

You're inner struggle is pretty funny. "Must defend Canuck fans, but the only possible explanation makes them sound like drooling social media addicted idiots."

I found it pretty embarrassing myself. I don't know how many people in the lower bowl actually paid for their seats; I never have. A forty dollar sacrifice to the hat trick gods seems pretty reasonable when you're at the game for free, particularly when it's for a player like D Sedin. But nothing was lit on fire, so ultimately it ranks pretty low on the Canuck fan embarrassment scale.

So let me get this straight. Saturday night game against one of canuck fan's most hated rivals and they weren't paying attention. To help out the confused, canucks always announce the goal scorers and the number of goals they have scored every game. I must agree, it is very helpful.

Nice and load the PA announces:

Canucks first goal scored by number 33… Daniel Sedin, assists by…
Canucks second goal scored by number 36… Jannik Hansen, assists by…
Canucks third goal scored by number 22… Daniel Sedin, assists by…
Canucks forth goal scored by number 22 … his second of the game … Daniel Sedin, assists by…

At that point everyone in the building should know the situation.

I have a really hard time believing people were just “confused”. Has to be more to it than that.

That actually sounds enjoyable. I would switch out the red wine for green leaf, but the rest sounds perfect.
