Good game for Sparks, he played well. Albeit against the oilers, but a shut out is still a shut out, good for him.
A little disgusted with Bernier's post game comments, "no comment"....like you cant even say some nice words about sparks. Jesus - Fakepartofme
in Bernier's defense he is kinda looking at the possibility of his career being ended
if the leafs decide to keep sparks up, and waive bernier, and he clears......
Tied an NHL record that can never be broken. Good for the kid.
How about those Oilers.. - bixll
What's Bernier think now. There goes my job?

Still, no excuse IMO.
Be a good teammate and NHL "Vet", little things like that can help him keep his career.
He's really starting to annoy me.

Wow, I didn't even know his numbers were that bad.
Currently sitting at #63 out of 72 tenders. Save percentage is an awesome .888
Buddy, these are, I'm getting waved numbers.

Well they have an asset in Bernier...how much of one now...no one knows. If they want any chance at trading him, they need him to improve.
So he'll need to play more than one game every ten or so.
Sending him down probably wont help him, as the AHL is usually harder on goalies.

Glad for him
Babcock stated that he's starting the Jets game if James isn't recovered
Bernier is now officially on popcorn duty

Only 3 goalies with more than 3 starts that have no wins....... Bernier @9, others are 3 or 4.

I would think the leafs still want something for him. A 9 game stretch is not worth giving him away.........just yet.

I see that, and totally agree. I am not surprised by this, he has been giving up a bad goal a game since he became a Leaf, FFS.

bye bye bernier
