Do you think he would clear?
I think it would be a little surprising if he was claimed, but it is possible. - Aetherial
I'd be willing to bet he'd get claimed. I highly doubt the Leafs waive him. |

That was Garret's first, and easiest shutout of his career. - Feeling Glucky?

What did you think of Sparkes' performance ? - bixll
Was that the question? I can't find it anywhere. For sure Simmons, Cox, Feschuk, Mirtle etc. would have written about it by now |

I think I am with Dozzer and DD, I can't see anyone claiming the guy at that salary.
This is no doubt a slump, but I think a look at the last couple years shows he isn't worth that contract.

Possibly the Flames. Or the Oilers. Or the Avs, Hurricanes, Sabres. |

Guys, the future is Sparks. Why are we still talking Reimer and Bernier?
He's on pace for a no goals against career.
Will likely win the Vezina this season, and the Calder. - Feeling Glucky?
someone pinch Glucky here to wake him up. |

he single handedly dragged the Leafs into playoff positioning for about 18 months until the bottom fell out last year. there is something there... there is talent. he reminds me of Jose Theodore around that age with just ridiculous fluctuations in his play that lasted for long stretches. Theodore was also a bit of a moron/prima donna. but eventually he ended up being a reliable goalie through his 30s. |

Yeah I think it depends whether GMS think last half season was solely Bernier's fault or the whole team.
Then they have to think is this just a slump and getting worse with the Toronto vultures. Can we get him in our market and turn him around like Dubnyk, Mason, Smith type of thing.
Can we handle his contract for 18 months if it doesn't work out. I'd bet a team would be willing to take a flier on him. |

its inbetween the ears with him
talent is there.. but something has him completely screwed up between the ears - Dozzer
GF told him to bugger off. No sex for you while I'm filming. |

Has anyone told Sparks that he beat the Oilers? I mean my division 11 team can shut them out too... He probably didn't even keep the puck... Just lit it on fire and told everyone to come out to his next game to see his debut in the NHL |

Similar to Kadri. Everyone expects so much. Every once in a while they do something spectacular, and are thought of as a quality player for a couple of days.
But they are similar. Underachieving.
Kadri finally hit the back of the net.. Well kind of. - bixll

Let's see how many games Sparks gets before Reimer is back. It's clear that Babcock has no faith in Bernier but they really don't know what they have in Sparks yet. Last night doesn't really tell us that much. |

I say move Komo to Lupul's line ( if he ever returns )
Both JVR and Kadri like to go to the net...not enough goals to go around for that group of 3 IMO
Kadri/JVR/Matthias
Bozak/Komogod/PaP
something along those lines |

Agreed. It also goes against the patient, not rushing players theory they have practiced thus far |

He makes that line...we hope the magic's not gone...Kadri has all those shots because Komarov gives him the puck as soon as he can and heads for the net. |
