He's been a beast in the A too. I'm all for waiting until next season to bring him to the NHL but I hope they give him a run of games before the team is gutted.
- A_Tree

We don't need him this year.

Win the A, come up next year and drag us to the playoffs.

I heard he refused, spat on a golf course with Robin Steele's buddies, punched a disabled kid from Africa and then said "no comment".

I'm just saying he has the right to refuse a conditioning stint...

That might be a valid reason as to why they didnt send him down for a stint when he on IR....

I wonder if bernier has any restrictions in this 2 year cointract

How many players can a team even send down for a "conditioning stint" if they're not injured?

Isn't that sort of circumventing the waiver system?

Anybody?

Did I mention Komarov's a beast?

To be fair, he thought that kid was Mandela. Been holding a grudge ever since Nelson made him like a fool by not playing in the NBA.

If they don't play for a while they can be sent down.

We can talk about Kadri all day, but Komarov makes that line tick...always in the right spot...on the right side of the puck...not greedy...actually it seems he looks for Kadri...except on the empty netter last night...I got the feeling Kadri was like..."you mother(frank)er...I need to get my percentage up and you are shooting it in the empty net"

He's the best player on the team IMO.

can look at it a few ways. If Komo is on a line with Spaling and Mathias...it might be a little different. No matter where Kadri plays he generates chances (at a very high level).. its not just because the Mustache is on his line

only way they could send Bernier down is if he basically didn't dress for 10 straight games or something. if they send him down now, it's not for conditioning. it's a distinct demotion. so the NHL will say "if you want to demote him, demote him properly..."

and also ya who knows what clauses are in his contract. there could be standard protection against conditioning stints under certain circumstances... or a NMC...

Komarov reminds me a bit of the Mule. Obviously a huge size difference between the two......but still Certainly not a dime a dozen forward eh wedgie?

Meh

Taking wristers from the outside is what it is...low scoring chances hence his percentage.

I'd rather Koma on a different line so Kadri had room in the scoring area...maybe we could get 2 lines going.

But if you don't see Komarov always othe right side of the puck - 1st guy back and stealing it for the other 2....I don't know what else to say, he's helping Kadri not the other way around. IMO

mule used to be clutch in the playoffs...way too many concussions.

But it's not a demotion. It can only be for 2 weeks, after which he needs to come back up, and his cap still counts towards the total.

The guy clearly needs a conditioning stint, even if it's just to improve the condition of his confidence.
