Yup
I'd actively look to move Streit at the deadline. If Anaheim picks it up, they could be a good fit. I'd be asking for their 1st in 2016 or a 2nd in '16 and LW Nick Ritchie.
As far as Umberger and Gagner go, you can add them to VLC, AMac, Schultz and Manning on my list of guys I can't wait to be rid of. - BiggE
Ritchie is worth a whole hell of a lot more than that. Streit alone isn't even likely to get him.

It's disgraceful. We have talked about it before, but what that franchise is right now is absolutely disgraceful - AllInForFlyers
I'd like to know what the timeline is in Hinkie's master plan? At what point do they move to the next phase where they win, hell I don't know, 25 games! Start to at least creep towards respectability. I guess they're going for the record for longest "tank" in sports history.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see them getting that much for Streit. He's in his late 30's, and he has another year left on his deal. The remaining year is going to limit his value.

I want to see them go 0-82 and get the (frank) out of town. That entire franchise can go (frank) themselves. I never thought I'd be missing Harold Katz, but at least that putz wanted to win. - BiggE
It's game night, so I don't want to distract from that. But something needs to be done, and it's not what they have been doing |

It will end in June of 2039 when with the first pick in the NBA draft the Sixers select Michael Jordan's grandson. |

Unfortunately that is the league. The haves and the have nots. You know just about where every team is headed before the season even starts. That's why I don't waste my time with the NBA. If you don't have a superstar you aren't going anywhere near a championship.
The NBA is about 8-10 teams too large. The parity isn't there to make it a watchable league for me. |

I would LOVE Ritchie but he went 10th overall, right? And he is progressing very well from what I hear.
It'd probably have to be a pretty hefty offer from us. Most likely a Sanhiem or a Morin+ type offer. |

You never know, they ended up with two 2nds for a Kimmo Timonen that could barely play anymore. Skilled veteran Dmen seem to bring back a lot on deadline day, especially when they are elite pp guys. The last year won't be that big of an impediment. The acquiring team, could probably deal him somewhere after the season, especially if they are willing to retain a small portion of the contract |

The way Todd McClellan talks, I could see them in Edmonton. Man, he just about called those boys gutless after they got shutout last night - AllInForFlyers
Oilers are going to do something real soon. They are not happy with Eberle and RNH |

Timonen was on an expiring contract. Having another year on his contract is a big deal. It will limit the market, and the return for Streit.

I would take RNH. Not paying 1st overall trade value for him though. Draisaitl is really making him look expendable imo. |

Kane has been the best player in the NHL coming off a summer of rape allegations, and playing on a line with Artem Anisimov, and a player the Hawks are paying Ryan White money too?
Thank god the Flyers didn't get this fraud! |

Me too. It might take Simmonds or a D prospect though. I don't think a deal around BSchenn gets it done. |

oh come on. nobody named artem can sustain any long term level of success. |
