The only thing about big players like Morin, I feel, is that they really do need repetitions at professional pace. I want to get a look, but I do probably think he needs more time, and his transition might not be seamless

They're playing on the same line, and if PP time and PK time is pretty equal, their icetime is going to be similar. I don't like the line, and I want it changed like everyone else, but the team is winning.

They're winning because they're playing better hockey overall, and are starting to do more of what it takes to score. Players like Bellemare and Vandevelde are normally on the 4th line, but with some injuries and changes in the lineup, they've become 3rd liners playing with Voracek.

They need the Lakers to win too.

On the Hoffman goal, Del Zotto did step up and try to break up the play at the line, and the puck got by him, but he got zero support from his teammates. All 3 forwards were up ice on the same side of the ice, and there was a complete breakdown in structure, leaving the other side of the ice wide open.

That Voracek should never under any circumstance being playing wth those 2 and VDV should never be playing as much as Jake in any single game.

And benching Medvedev in favour of Manning is idiotic.

I don't like the line, and I want Voracek put back with Giroux. As long as Voracek is playing with those two, their icetime is going to be similar, unless special teams in terms of PK and PP time are significantly different.

There's more to it than just choosing Manning over Medvedev.
