Not only is 217 mil insane for any athlete but its a (frank)ing PITCHER. At best he only helps you every 5th game. Good god.

No. To be honest, it's not very useful without other statistics as well. I haven't checked the Rangers in a while, but I remember Girardi and McDunnuh getting incredibly tough assignments earlier this year, while Yandle got to consistently play around in the offensive zone against bottom 6 players.

I'm not a Girardi fan, but I have to imagine his usage is playing a pretty large role in why he's one of the worst in the league.

Usage isn't friendly to him, and McDonagh has had some bad-at least for him-performances over the past couple weeks. The other night the Rangers broadcast seemed to be hunting McDonagh might be nursing a nagging injury
