No I'm saying he's a top 6 winger which includes the 2nd line. He is no way shape or form a bottom 6 forward which you have stated("he's a 3rd liner on a good team").

1st overall picks shouldn't need other players to make them better. He's supposed to be able to do that on his own and he doesn't.

Ennis is a third liner on a GOOD TEAM. There's no way shape or form hed crack the top 6 on Chicago, St. Louis, Washington etc. He's a 2nd liner on a non playoff team and 1st liner on a bottom 5 team. Reinhart is already better then him and this is his rookie season. Hes looked awful this year both on the top line and the 2nd line. And you can't say any different then that. Numbers don't lie.

Ennis is a third liner on a GOOD TEAM. There's no way shape or form hed crack the top 6 on Chicago, St. Louis, Washington etc. He's a 2nd liner on a non playoff team and 1st liner on a bottom 5 team. He's looked like sh!t this year there is no doubt about it.

The guy has 9 points, and I keep hearing that he's been great. He certainly hasn't been bad, but I expect the production to be a little higher than it's been before I say he's better than other top 6 players

Ennis has been in the top 6 all year long and has 10 points. Reinhart has been in the top 6 maybe half the year so far and he's got 9 points. Simple as 1, 2, 3...

Xfactor bcz when we cant breakout or our pp is having trouble gaining the zone ennis excells at that.

he's not playing poorly either.

He's playing exactly like I thought he would for stretches of the season. He doesn't look lost, but he also doesn't look quite like he knows what to do some of the time. The rigorous schedule is wearing on him right now. He's trying to figure out what to do in order to be effective yet not wear himself too thin either.

You can see flashes of what he'll be capable of in each game once he puts it all together (and I have faith he will). It's just going to take time. It's why Murray didn't just rest on his laurels and went after O'Reilly. He's able to provide insulation to the kid and remove a bit of pressure. It's one of the areas that Edmonton hasn't done at all along the way which is why they're still in last place even with 4 1st overall picks on their team.
