Sabres DOMINATE posession when Pysyk is on the ice. McCabe's played well but I highly disagree he's been "better".
That being said, I'd rather keep both than have Eberle. I've actually been very happy with the defense this year. - CaptainRivet
So dominant he has a single point.
He's a really good possession player, which is important. But McCabe has shown flashes of being a difference maker. He has more scoring ability, more physicality
move ennis, anyone up front not named skunk, eichel, ror, kane and girgens, picks/prospects and crap for that blank - homiedclown
Who do you put on the wings then? Assuming Eichel and O'Reilly stay at centre. You could move Girgensons to top 6 wing but now you've left a big hole on that third line where for the most part he's been very good defensively.

doesn't matter
with foligno, deslauriers, mcginn, moulson, gionta, larsson, schaller, legwand, and a few guys in rochester, plenty to fill a bottom 6

I'd keep Gorges with Risto. Pysyk and McCabe feed off each other well. Trade Franson next trade deadline and find a lefty to play with Bogo. - CaptainRivet
gorges is not a long term solution on the top pair

Dominates for all 12 minutes against lesser competition.... You don't say. - CoHo_to_B-Lo
His average ice time is actually 16 minutes. McCabe's shows as 18 right now. I think we're trying to split hairs here and it's kind of silly.
Really, I'd like the two of them paired together. I think they compliment each other well. Let them develop chemistry together and you've got a pair that can be very good for you for a long time.
