Buffalo generally has high ratings either way, so even if we aren't in it they know we'll watch (although I haven't since Pittsburgh Washington). If we're a good team and a fun one to watch I think it'll happen. The team we play will hopefully be one with some real significance like Toronto if they're decent by that time or Boston. Only reason I can't see Edmonton is for how small both cities would be.

Eric Cornel is having a real nice season in Peterborough. Last year he scored 14 goals in 66 games and this season he has 14 in 28 games thus far. Nice to see the improvement.

I think it's probably the best matchup sitting here today. Who knows, another Buffalo Carolina type rivalry might spark up, or maybe we'll start hating the Flyers again. Ratings are tough when you add Canadian teams to the mix. We get CBC and CTV here in Buffalo, but do they get NBC in the Toronto market? If not that would kill the ratings for NBC. The overalls might be good, but if it's aired on say CTV how do those numbers factor in? Do they even use Nielsen in Canada?

I disagree. To me, a bad hockey team is what we had to watch the last 2 years. I think what we have now is what I would call an inconsistent team. It's got good moments and not so good moments.
