Not sure why Medvedev shot in shootout, had to be better options like Schenn, or Reid. Don't think he had his best game, bad tripping penalty in neutral zone cost a powerplay goal against and giveaway at end was bailed out, but can see why they paid 3 million as there is potential, with prospects coming would like to see Hextal see what we can get for him with a trade. Umberger should be waived but thought Whitey had a good game. If we could get Vorachek back on on the line he should be with put Schenn with the two grinders who work hard and maybe it will rub off.

Schenn and Read have poor shootout records.

I think the Flyers need the physical aspect he brings. If we look at icetime from the game, it would be Manning. Never know though.

Dougie Hamilton sure fixed what was wrong with the Flames.

The forward that went off on the change, taking away any weak side in the neutral zone, is what allowed the entry to develop. MacDonald in that situation had no choice but to back in there. It's confirmation bias, and looking to see something that you want to see. I've been watching the entire game, and MacDonald has played solidly, and defended entries no differently than any other defenseman has. Whatever, you'll find a way to blame MacDonald.

Read's bad line change lead directly to that 3 on 2, but the obsession with the MacDonald can't defend narrative is pathological among certain posters.
