I don't think Talbot plays tomorrow but I could be wrong. - AlEx_OiL
It would be nice for him to get his confidence back and give us some quality starts. Ease the load on Nilsson |

Usual weak ass retort
Insert 5 gay emoticons here - Ihateallofu
Weak because you have no response, other than to say it is weak? Ok fine. Try this.
You stated sometime I believe in around mid/late October, the the confidence of the kids was "Fragile". This I believe after a slow start to the season, in which the team had been in most games other than the Dallas one. You then say that you have "proof" of that, based on these articles, or interviews. This article was written September 22nd. And this is a direct quote from that article
“That was huge for us. In a crazy way, you can say you’re not a loser anymore, so to have that confidence and to have Todd here and some of the players they’ve added makes me really excited to get going.
“At the same time you have to temper it. You have to realize it’s not just going to happen.”
So somehow, between September 22nd, and mid October, they go from this, having confidence, and excitement about winning the WHC, the same coach from that team with them now, new players joining them, and a statement realizing it is a process, no instant fix. To being "Fragile"? All in a matter of 3 short weeks?
I can only imagine the tightrope a player like Hall must have been walking at that point. It's a wonder how he has been able to produce and play the way he has since then, despite the team losing key players to injury, and losing 14 of 22 games between Oct 15 and Nov 30th. |

A small win streak doesn't erase all those feelings, but with every win confidence builds
Try and keep up. Your rationalizations Are mind numbingly stupid |

yeah
He hasn't shown signs of fatigue. And if he had in practice or whatever Todd would sit him
Until then, ride the kid |

You completely dodged the question I asked about what happened between Sept. 22, and mid October. In fact they had no small win streak between those dates where you state their confidence was fragile.
I concur with the next statement, and never said one thing erases another. So would it then be logical to assume, based on your statement, that losing a few to start the season, did not totally erase the feelings they had talked about in that article?
And please continue to use insults in your replies. After all, anyone that doesn't agree with you is stupid, not a mature adult, and of course, one of my disciples. |

No sense in going with Talbot just yet but we have back to back games on the 14th and 15th against Boston and the Rangers so you might just get to see Talbot vs the Rangers after all...as far as easing the load he doesnt seem tired and if he wants to be a #1 goalie then he has to learn to play #1 goalie minutes |

Don't worry coach. I will provide enough offensive support to keep either goalie getting the W's. |

Do the Oilers still skate and practice in that rink in WEM? I mean, assuming they have the confidence to go to a public place like WEM and skate in front of everyone. - leonkennedy
I just realized how much you revel in this bickering. A 40 year old who searches out fights on a hockey message board. And you're relentless about it..
And you had the audacity to ever call someone pathetic for posting here!!??
I truly feel bad for you right now.

This is true. That's when I want to see Talbot. Either the Bruins or Rangers doesn't really matter to me. But wait for the back to back. |

Would make the most sense to me though we havent been afraid to play Nilsson in back to backs either this year...I just hope we can keep this up esp since between the 26th and 2nd we got Van Cgy LA Ana and Ari...very important stretch of games comin up |
