I tend to think sven will work out. Watching him he's coming on...I think when he becomes the scorer he's projected to be it'll be very good.

I enjoyed Seinfeld very much outside of jerrys atrocious acting. But the best there's ever been? No ... Big Bang is way better and stronger show than Seinfeld. Pick any season it won't matter. However I wouldn't be surprised if there's a connection in the writters etc because they have several people from Seinfeld in big bang and I also feels it has a similar film style....usually filmed entirely within an apartment....they all just walk in the door at the main characters apartment etc.

add in many people from Roseanne and blossom....that's a lot of television show experience...no wonder its doing so well.

Legit question here. I am watching the Calgary Buffalo game. From all the flames fan talk I thought they had 4 legit #1 D men in Gio, Brodie, Hamilton and Russell? So why are they sucking so bad?

Very poor start ....even worse goaltending ...things have turned around and the D core is looking much better ...they will be in the convo for a playoff spot with pretty much the rest of the pacific come April

I am a big fan of both. Seinfeld during its days of production were similar to TBBT. The show grew more the longer it went. The Characters grew stronger and the writing got better. The topics were more ludicrous. Even after production Seinfeld grew to iconic status. Unlike TBBT the shows star was the weakest part of the cast

We will need to see TBBT popularity after 25 years of reruns and not during production to make a good comparison, but make no mistake these have been the best two ever.

I doubt very much he gets another contract with VAN , but I can also see him saying no thanks I don't want to move my family

I could see him retiring after this year. If the house is paid off and there is money in the bank , I could see him taking a career change.

I don't think he needs to uproot his family to another city to go play for a lesser contract.

I posted this because of the 5 trade rumours parts. We sit in here and debate how some would like Byf and Lucic to make us a Cup contender , while LA goes out and does what we want. They have won two cups recently and look very strong this year.

Moving at TDL doesnt mean moving his family. Many players do it for the 2-3 months and then go back home. Starting March players see very little of their families anyways and during playoffs often even less(for f's sake they stay in a hotel even on home ice during playoffs)

HBO changed the game.
Game of Thrones is the gold standard for a movie quality TV show. Now if your talking about half hour sitcoms the the top three all time would go MASH, Seinfeld, Simpsons.
I love TBBT and PVR it religiously but until it hits 10,15,20 seasons and gets the volume of watchers that those three get, its not even in the conversation.
Calling TBBT the best show ever is like calling Dopel the Canucks best ever defencemen..... kidding, Sopel would be like Cheers, and TBBT would be like Tanev, a new good and young, who can say how good he can get(if we had an Ekblad or Jones I'd use them I this comparison).
