I think the problem with jake is that he is trying to put the team and that line on his back. He really isnt built for that IMO. Someone needs to be putting him on their back...carry Jake towards more scoring...maybe more breakaways...heck even an all star appearance. Something is just, I dont know, missing...

Tonight's game is going to be tough no doubt. Wouldn't be shocked if they won it. I would be shocked if they play Carolina next week with the same effort as they've been bringing.

I don't get all the hysteria with Jake. He's one player on this team that makes a lot of money. The lines that Hak has going right now are working. In my opinion g and Jake being split have something to do with that. Keep it going

It's a long season. The Flyers are 2 points out of a playoff spot, but are giving up games. They're also not that far ahead of the bottom of the NHL. This week had the potential to end their playoff chances. So far so good with 3 out of 4 points. Even if they lose tonight, they survived this stretch, and have played some good hockey.

My hysteria is mainly connected with feeling bad for Jake. You can tell he wants to get out of this slump and that he wants to prove to philly that he is worth that big contract he just signed. you see his frustration game in and game out and his confidence is up in the air.
