Like I said, perhaps its just my frustration in its totality with both of our cities sport franchises fighting for whom can out do the other at being the most inept from year to year.

The Bills are going to lose this weekend because Stephon Gillmore and Ron Brooks were too cool to make a routine tackle on a meaningless play and instead had to break their shoulder trying to prove how tough they were.

A 74-79 point finish means bottom-10 with the possibility of being bottom-five.
I think it's also worth noting they've spent most of the year without a regular d-man, top 6 forward and their starting goaltender. I mean even if you don't think highly of the trade, there at least 3 off the top of my head where a competent goaltender gets us an extra point (or both).

Yea, hey i wouldnt count anything out with murray. Even if the sabres won the lottery this season, im not sure they would actually draft mathews if they are set at center already.

And Murray made a lot of moves and gave away a lot of assets for this team to "still stink" as bad as it does.

murray gets a pass. the entire idea of what the sabres were needed to be doused with gasoline and set on fire. its going in the right direction. at this point they are worlds better just from an entertainment perspective, if the worst thing that happens when the year is over is that we get a top 5 pick to throw into the mix, so be it. so the stuff he didnt get to- left side defense, veteran backup goalie, and top 6 winger(s) can be worked on in the offseason.
