Reminds me more of Mike Weaver.
Makes good decisions with the puck, plays bigger than he is.

When Ballard played for Florida he was very decent. Vigneault changed him to a mere cockroach

Agreed.
Maybe insert Subban into the equation.

Subban, Jensen and Burrows for Tinordi and Ellers ??
Sounds too good to be possible.

- dbot

This is pretty even for both IMO, I'm actually a little reluctant to give up on Subban. I'm also not a big Ellers fan, too soft.

I agree, I still don't think the deal for him was bad either. Unfortunately he never gelled under AV.
Also those concussions....

talking about when he was in florida, they got scored against, he swings his stick (hard) at the post and hits Tomas Vokoun in the head by accident...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y2B7_uigv1o

didn't realize KB and him got into it.

(i thought there was more blood, but it looks like there is a cut to the back left side of his head)

With this Motley Crew, anything over ten bucks is a waste of money.

If anyone is interested in the historical start of hockey and skating, I came across this blog, http://skateguard1.blogsp...ting-history-in-nova.html , it mentions skating back in 1604 or at least hunters in Acadia skating across frozen ponds around that time.

Good article.
Nova Scotia has been fighting that battle for a long time; birth place of hockey.

I always found it interesting that Vikings were using bone skates back in the 9th century. When you think of it, surprising there hasn't been much advancement in the technology considering the human activity of skating has been around for a long time.

Canucks need to just sit tight and don't make a foolish stop-gap move at this point. Continue to draft and develop while getting rid of your older plugs, like Higgins, at the TDL for extra picks.

yep.

When people talk about the beginnings of hockey, I always think of Howard Dill, must be a very cool guy, from what I remember, seeing him on tv.

(did not know about the Vikings, hockey always makes me think of the contrasting images of vikings and swedes today, like the Sedins, heat of battle and handing an opponent their stick, after picking it up for them)
