What would we want from them? Vrbata + 2nd for Crouse? or Vrbata for Metheson+?
- Retinalz

I would do Vrbata Hansen , Jensen and a third for Gubrandson and Pirri

I was hoping for Ekblad, but yeah, those deals are okay too.

If Benning is looking at trading away anybody I hope he acquires d men and/or draft picks

Target a prospect in hope that one day they will turn out to be a player like Gudbrandson?

JB and Canucks seen something about his game that they didn't care if he didn't clear waivers. He had a very unimpressive camp
- VANTEL

he had been a disappointment for sure. there was always a little, tiny maybe, bit of hope that if he got in the lineup, he could show better...

but something about a saying, if if's and but's were...

So if he was here, we would have likely seen him by now and maybe still be looking for better depth.

Clendenning COrrado and Weber are nothing more than fluffers. They will never have the major role, but instead they just keep things moving until the real personnel is ready to step in and finish something they started.

No said he was looking to trade assets that aren't on the team and will have troubles doing so. Gudbrandson may be unavailable. thats what i suggested the two i did.
EDIT: Ofc i would prefer Gudbrandson on the team.

yep.

sometimes it feels like if somebody is willing to send a player to us that is young and had been highly touted, but can't break into the lineup, there is a reason they can't break into the lineup. just as with Corrado.

I see what you are doing with bringing up Mallet again for the second time today. Yes I was high on him a couple of years back . Yes I was wrong. Since then I have payed closer attention to my scouting .

I know they are pokes at me seeing we never agree on anything.

You assessment on players like Sbisa and Sutter have been so wrong this year and your assessment of COrrado and Clendenning just minutes ago show that your assessment talent isn't as close to 1000 as you think it is either.

There is probably a good reason that you , myself or Nucker are not hired by the NHL . Keep in mind we are just a bunch of guys on here chatting.

I do have to give you, you are respectful in your style of debate and I do enjoy going up against you , in a non prevented way.

I don't remember mentioning mallet or that you liked him, I thought he had NHL potential watching him play his first year for the wolves, bit shows what I know.

My opinion of Sbisa was he was our worst player last year and didn't deserve his contract. He is playing better but is also playing less minutes and still doesn't deserve that contract IMO. I said from day one that I liked Sutter over Bonino but that he is a black hole in terms of offensive creatively, also over paid and strange timing on the contract. My opinion hasn't changed but I would happily own it if I'm wrong on either of those guys.

Regardless I also enjoy our "discussion", even if you are always wrong.

Ducks down 3-0 to the Canes. Heads should be rolling tomorrow. That is just horrible . We knew about getting rid of Kesler Bieksa years ago , but to drag a top team from the top to the bottom in 18 months is nuts

To be fair, it's more Bieksa than Kesler... not to mention Getzlaf and Perry are highly overrated and they're missing Belesky badly.
