I like Bellemare, but this line is driving me crazy.
I know the coach has credentials, but this is such a dumb move.

So what's gone good this year through 30 games? My top 5

1) emergence of Ghost... Funny no arguments about if he's ready or not anymore.
2) Giroux is playing a more complete game then he has in 2 years...his commitment to both ends has him ranked in the top 10 players in the world in my books.
3) Neuvirth has simply been the Flyers best goalie and is looking like a guy that can carry the mail. Great stuff.
4) Gudas playing a physical game that keeps appponent's on their toes when he's on the ice....not bad for a guy with 6-7 talent. Nice to see a guy play above his talent level ...heart and toughness.
5) not with the Flyers...but Provorov, Sanheim, Koneckny, Fazleev, Aubs-kubel and Myers are all having great years and showing growth...in major Jr. hockey. As well Morin, Leirer, Cousins, Alt and even Ghoulbourne are showing signs that they can be contributors in the near future.....more great stuff...ok enough of the kool aid!!

Yeah enough already. You don't waste elite talent buried on a line with role players. You just don't.

Put Jake on the right side with Coots/Read and drop Simmonds down to the 3rd unit. Simmonds leading the team with -13 +/1. Simmonds also gets 1st PP unit time.

Couple bad plays but when he ripped a 50 footer in on the PP ...yes he did....funny you haven't brought it up in his first 12 games ...lol....waiting for few bad shifts were ya....that's called cherry picking. Even you have to realize the kid belongs....cmon man just admit and move on already.

LOL, it was more than a couple of bad plays, but the entire team got shellacked last night. I wouldn't expect a rookie defenseman, who's played a handful of games to be any different. So, no it has nothing to do with waiting for a handful of shifts. Gostisbehere has had some issues in his own end since he's been up, but that's not unexpected. The good however far outweighs the bad. Gostisbehere has been pretty much what I expected. NHL caliber in skating, with the puck, and on the PP, but has some development to still do defensively. I think he's further along defensively than I thought he would be, but it looks like he is capable of handling developing that side of his game at the NHL level. He's a good player now, who is only going to get better.
