This teams road trips being in the northwest/Southwest this early in the year is absolutely ludicrous. Who the fukk is making the schedules?

If Benning thinks Corrado is the answer to the teams woes, it's going to be a long winter.

If Benning thought Corrado was the answer to anything he'd have found a way to keep him around, obviously he didn't.

Hall had a four point night last night as well as 19 year old Carl Neill

Bernier with his third shutout shines in the AHL . Not really news , we always knew Leafs had a bunch of AHL goalies. I bet Dion would shine on the Marlies too. COrrado will play his first game Tuesday

Fedun should see a call up in 5 weeks.

Comets struggling this year.l

Ferraro looking good

Ducks suck

He said in his interview yesterday on 1040 they felt Biega, Fedun and Pedan were ahead of Corrado on the depth chart.

I'm sure he tried to package him a trade of some kind, obviously teams knew they were going to put him waivers and didn't bite. It's pretty straight forward, he had to pass through waivers as he was not good enough to make the team.

Hope whatever it is with Dorsett isn't too serious, but I'm not sad to see him out of the lineup.

Only an idiot GM would waste a NHL rosterspot and put you right up against the cap to save a player that your organization couldn't clearly give a rats ass about , that no one would trade for. That is what the Leafs do not the Canucks.

I bet the PTO or the UFA unwantable list you can find 20 players more desirable that FC

Aullie Fistric Bickell still showed as unemployed that would be temporary fill ins

Its been stated that the Canucks were able to place Higgins Injury reserve(Which they decided to do after he got claimed) and keep a spot for him.

Its not rocket science, the team clearly fukked up.

Higgins and Corrado could both be on the roster today if they would have had their ducks in a row.

But someone dropped the ball and now were stuck only the old guy.

JB suggested he may be interested in having him back.

Corrado's development has clearly stalled to a point where MNGT thought washing their hands was best. What can you do? We have plenty of 5-6 DMEN on the club. Time for JB to get an impact DMAN if we are serious about playoffs. Enough wasting time with DMEN that can only slot in the 7 spot on most clubs.

Only because of the injury situation most likely and he is cheap. I'm willing to bet JB has his eye on someone else.

The point is that Carrado was not and is not good enough to be on the roster. you're right, it's not rocket science. Even with the injuries, Carrado didn't play well enough to be on this team right now. It was better for him to send him to the AHL for more seasoning. He's two years away, the leafs know it but know they cant send him to the Marlies either.

It would be dropping the ball if they had interest in Corrado . We are sitting here now talking about how Benning screwed up an AHL contract.

As I posted last night. Pens have played Clendening 7 of 28 games. That team is horrible on d yet they still won't use him.

FC plays for one of the worst teams in the league and as of today still has not played 1 minute on a defensively impotent team, and dropped by another bottom 10 team.

I have seen Nucker and Belcher talking about our weak D farm . FC was not even one of those top guys.

Canucks can go out and hire anyone to play that same unimpressive D that Corrado played. No regrets from myself

I think if he had real interest it would have been an issue all year.

He looks even more amateur talking about him saying he is keeping an eye on his progress.
