JB suggested he may be interested in having him back. - VanHockeyGuy
Well of course, he's got potential. Canucks are rebuilding and the idea of a young guy that might crack the lineup in two years is appealing. Especially a guy who knows your system and structure. I see Carrado 5-6 guy one day, but not till he gets back to playing in the A where he belongs. |

Thanks Carol for mentioning Sportsnet's lack of proper Canucks coverage.
Pull your head out of your ass SN!! - LordHumungous
I would also add TSN's coverage of the Canucks is pathetic and that includes radio and the 1040 website isn't as well maintained as it once was...
looking for some Canuck interviews/podcasts on the 1040 page and they often have stuff a week old and are slow to make more recent stuff available or you have to comb through whatever hour of another podcast to hear a guest discuss the Canucks.
As CS was saying, it is hockey season, we just watched a Canucks game, do you think we really want to see Blue Jays content? |

If Fedun did not break his hand the other night FC would be a non issue |

It would be dropping the ball if they had interest in Corrado . We are sitting here now talking about how Benning screwed up an AHL contract.
As I posted last night. Pens have played Clendening 7 of 28 games. That team is horrible on d yet they still won't use him.
FC plays for one of the worst teams in the league and as of today still has not played 1 minute on a defensively impotent team, and dropped by another bottom 10 team.
I have seen Nucker and Belcher talking about our weak D farm . FC was not even one of those top guys.
Canucks can go out and hire anyone to play that same unimpressive D that Corrado played. No regrets from myself - VANTEL
Drop away
"We didn’t want him sitting around and not playing. But we’ll see what happens. I’ve been watching what’s going on with him in Toronto, so we’ll see what happens with that,” said Benning while on the B-Mac, Donnie & The Moj show Friday night. |

Glad to see it's just not me with respect to being ticked off about no post-game show/interviews on Sportsnet. It's quite galling that Sportsnet seems to treat us West Coast fans as second class citizens.
I also dislike Sportsnet using 830 different channels for their broadcasts. So far you have Sportsnet (22), SportsNet 360 (54), Sportsnet 1 (145), Sportsnet 1B (145 and 326), and then the various local Sportsnet channels (Sportsnet West/ East etc).
Is it really that dificult to just use two channels (as was the case with TSN earlier). I find myself continuously flipping to find the pre-game show (which is often only a few minutes long at the top of the hour before the game starts

I didn't think Benning's comment about Corrado was that big of a deal. He watches everybody around the league.
If the Leafs do put Corrado back on waivers at some point, the Canucks will get first chance at snatching him back for free if they choose.
Meanwhile, Frankie's finally getting the nod to play in Toronto's next game on Tuesday, but the National Post's web editor used a photo of Jake Virtanen for the tweet that links to the story...

I am seriously more concerned about the Comets than these next few weeks for the Canucks.
I am very happy with Hutton Biega and Bartowski.
I am disappointed in Weber. I am even more disappointed that they don't trust Pedan Subban or Saunter. IMO you need 8 Dmen on the farm that could step up short term to fill in for a few games if Canucks need them. If Pedan is not good enough then get someone else.if Cedarholm is not good enough get someone else |

Most would probably disagree but I would like to see them pick up Jarred Tinordi |

I get the impression WD doesn't agree with JB on call ups or the types of players he wants to play.
Call me crazy, you witness the Canucks being pushed around and there is a guy in the pressbox who is 6ft5 and has a little snarl in his game and you don't want to play him? |

It all depends on the price. (as always)
How is Tinordi's skating vs. Pedan's? |

He has snarl and slow feet. If he plays a safe game he is usable. WD feels more comfortable with Weber.
Pedan has a lot of Andrew Ahlberts in his game |

Put him in a position to succeed, pair him with a better skater and see what happens. especially so if we are playing against a heavy team.
It is just such a contrast when you see Burrows standing in front of the opposing net, getting cross checked in the back, and you see in front of Miller and it is more cordial than a Vancouver bus stop.
Biega has brought a little physicality that is appreciated. |

So you liked Alberts enough to state so, I couldnt give two shyts about losing a young right hand defenceman for nothing.
Im lost.

Honestly, guys like Pedan and Tinordi are dying out. I'm tired of having guys that are too slow to carry the puck, was happy to see Juice let go when he lost a step or two. Time to draft and build the back end. That's just my opinion, I see both those guys being 5-6 d-men, and that's just not worth a draft pick. |

They're not comparable d-men, first of all. You keep ignoring the fact that Carrado is just not NHL ready, second. He needs to play in the A for a year or two more, JB knew it. |

Happy to hear Carrado's getting a shot, I think he ought to be playing in the A but it sucks for him to sit on the shelf in limbo. |

The defence men that you are talking about can't score , fight , lay out big hits , and was an adequate skater.
Alberts could hit fight and defend team mates. When Corrado can do one of those things we can renegotiate |
