I don't have anything bad to say about Subban.
I do think 5' 9 Freisen is the best player for the 4 th line centre and he is not here. Let's see how they feel about a 5'9 Dman - VANTEL
agreed
Ive been saying all month that subban should be offered to habs for a Dman w size. Habs will pay the most for him.
If not then convert him to wing....his play is more suited to wing anyways |

Burrows use to score clutch goals. He use to score 20 plus goals a year. He use to be a top agitator.
Right now he is just being a good team mate and trying to do whatever is asked of him, but his good days are long gone now.
Because our division s embarrassingly weak I will put the playoff bar at 90 pts this year. For us to do that we need 60 pts in 51 games. We probably wont see the playoffs - VANTEL
I dont think he is being used well. he spent most of that time in past with sedins... of course he isnt as productive scoring wise.
he is a player that rises in playoffs. But as you said....IF we make them |

With his bloodline he would have been picked up in a heartbeat in the first or second round if he had a very good chance of making the NHL. 29 GMs refused to take a chance on him. I think he is a longshot but I hope I am wrong

It is very hard to justify giving top line minutes to a player with 33 pts last year. You need to find his replacement |

right....so why not offer him to habs then...they can hope he turns out a bit like his brother and sell it to them like that. PK has always said his brother is more talented as him, so perhaps if they ask him about it he convinces them.
I see the same as you....minuscule changes of ever cracking NHL as a D at his size. So we either move him or convert to forward |

Well stats r for losers eg the Leafs its not a pool dude.
As for Neely u say not much as usual n leave out much.
Neely n a 1st(Wesley) was compensation for signing Barry Pederson.
Never liked that deal but there u have the facts n yw.
Anytime u need a history lesson I'll fill in the blanks for u without googling it. - Nighthawk
I mean no disrespect, but I have to ask, if you are as old and experienced as claimed, how is it possible that you cannot properly write a coherent post. I am in my mid fifties and I find myself having to reread your posts to make sure I understand the message you are trying to convey.
I have always blamed grammar laziness of the youth of society, I never expected someone of my generation (assumption on my part) to post in this manner.
Again no disrespect, I just have a hard time with one letter word meanings. |

exactly my point. well that and theyd likely give us the most for him.
unless he became a forward that is. |

No disrespect taken
Assumption is correct i'm of your generation.
Not lazy just shorter texting is all. Ok lazy lol
As for coherent simply ask me what u need explained.
Blogging idc to proof read my grammar n often use short versions of wording.
Grammar i've always been lazy with n a shortcoming of mine.
As for Stan Makita i idolized his style along with Orr n Boudrias. I was an original 6 Wings fan but liked many players. Leafs n Habs became hated teams for me after denying the Canucks expansion in 1968. I speak for management, not the fans, n especially Ballard. HNIC pettiness n the resulting profits they cherished n unwilling to share with anyone were n still r my reason n will never change as long as i live.
The Habs i tolerate but with the Leafs with Saturday 4pm PST locked up in perpetuity on CBC they can rot forever. Til the day they earn it i will remain steadfast. |

I as looking at some numbers and for us to get SChenn something has to give. Right now Canucks have 2.2 in cap space and Schenns salary is 3.6. Pedan and his 800k would go back to Utica or be part of the trade . We still have 600 K to clear. We could send Kenins back and problem solved , or we would need to trade a roster player.
I believe Canucks have a genuine interest in Schenn and something will happen before we play them Thursday.
Hamhuis is scheduled at least 8 weeks. TDL is in 10. I believe there will be complications and Hamhuis wont be ready for a least 10 weeks
What do Flyers want back in return? They would say Horvat and a first rounder but we know that will never happen.
The roster player would be Higgins or Baertschi. We are too thin on D to swap D.
There would probably be a B prospect or a third rounder. Truthfully I would prefer giving up a B prospect over a pick |

Much as I would love to win the Chychrun sweepstakes, Fabbro would be a great step. maybe Sean Day in the second round... I can dream. - neem55

What is your thoughts on Stuart Percy? He is a RFA 22 yr old . Would cost a third rounder compensation for Bartowski like contract or Second rounder for a little more . |

Don't forget that in the off season, the twins said that we will likely suck(used other words obv) this year and next and then probably compete in the last year of their contract again. They probably see that our vets need to move out for cap space/young players as well. |

3 pts in 9 nhl games isn't bad for a Leaf Dman. I thought you wanted to OS for Reilly and send Toronto a 1st/3rd |

We are 40% through the schedule. Any team in our division that goes through a 10 game hot streak will make the PO , that includes the Canucks |

Dude I would take a fine tooth comb through their NHL team and AHL team for years seeing they were colossal douches.
I don't like COrrado but it is all about the principal. If they needed the guy and played him then I could care less . I should not want revenge because it is the Leaf anthem to pay players to do nothing , but it bugs me what Dbs they are |

We will get Tryamkin next year, and he is better IMO. The reason I think JB will get Tyamkin next year is because he will be offered a 1way contract. He idolized Chara and if he ever wants to be thought of in the same light, he can only do that in the NHL. The KHL will hold nothing for him unless he fails here. |

4 seasons on the Marlies and unable to crack a crappy Leafs lineup other than 9 games.
Under 200lb Dman and a left hand shot. If he was RHD then maybe... |
