I think this week we will find out the teams intentions.
If Benning goes out and makes a trade or two , knowing that Sutter and Hamhuis are out unto TDL , then it will show the team wants to competet and have not given up.
If this is a do nothing week , with the injuries and the team free falling then I take it as a tank job
Will be interesting to see if they go after Stoll |

That first goal shouldn't have had a Kane assist... NHL stats are a joke. - kaptaan
Kane to Keith to Panarin to Keith...goal.
They were the last three to touch the puck, no Canuck touched it.
It would seem that YOU are the joke actually. |

Not a chance, Gudbrandson would be an improvement, but he definitely isn't and likely will never be as good as people thought when he was taken 3rd overall. He is just a 4th Dman. Bo, McCann, Boeser, JV make up our future top 6(McCann on LW i think in future) once we get that Elite Centre(c'mon Matthews) we just need to find someone to fill in for 1st/2nd line LW. |

I am sure the Sedins will be here when they are 40 so we need 2nd LW |

Quite a bit. On any team with a #1 dman he could be their #2 easily. I would say if he went to Florida as an example we could take Gudbrandson and Metheson for him(we may add a C-Prospect or a 3rd/4th rounder). That's where I would value him. |

The only way i see them re-signing at the end of their contract, is if we already have a competitive Top 6 and we ask them to sign for cheap to be 3rd liners to provide additional scoring. I don't think they want to carry a team any longer than they have to. |

If they are looking to win a cup then they should not be playing here |

Not a lot . He had more value two years ago. When you play on a bad team your value goes down |

The Penguins will retain 33 percent of Scuderi’s $3 million salary, general manager Jim Rutherford said. Pittsburgh expressed interest in Daley for about a month, according to Rutherford, but could not find common ground with Chicago until Monday. |

The only way I would trade Boeser is if it became apparent he was going to pull an umberger and not play for Van. Or he was packaged to go from 4th to 1st and get matthews |

if it was as straightforward as you wrote you ignorant f*ck then Hockey news wouldn't put out an article explaining why the assist counted... |

Sedins are proving this season they are still top players in this league. I doubt they'll sign to be 3rd liners here.
they might accept a deal at the TDL in their final year to a contender, and then resign here in Vancity. but I doubt they get traded and spend any more time than as rentals in any other city for a playoff run. they'll retire as Canucks in about 5 seasons or when they turn 43. |
