is there any impact on the rest of the team when you do something like this? Trouba really won't be worth the 7mil cap hit for a few more years, does that create any animosity among the players?

What was also interesting was JPat discussing Edler and his free pass from a lot of the media stuff and the interference some of the players run for him.

Edler is in a comfort zone in Vancouver. he signed a reasonable contract with the ntc to stay here. he doesn't want to go anywhere.

I wouldn't be against moving him if the right deal came along.
