Two of those Florida players are defenseman, I agree with you, but just saying.... #draftDfirstround

I should also note, Barkov is better than any of our forward prospects by a long-shot.

Horvat is also the only guy in Vcr who has proved something in the NHL so far either.

I don't think "by a long shot"? His numbers in his first year were the same as Horvat's, although Horvat was 19 and Barkov was 18.

Edit: Barkov did play 14 less games...he's better sure, but not head and shoulders above IMO.

Have a look at his Corsi number's, he's playing against the #1 line every night. His team's record with him in the lineup this year 12-7-3, 3-5-1 without. This conversation by the end of next year will be much more clear. He's 6'3 220, so that helps. Jagr once referred to him as "almost Datsyuk like with his ability to intercept the puck". Only time will tell, but he does already have 16 pts in 21 games.

Barkov also wasn't sheltered by Sedins, I like Horvat and have no doubt he will good player regardless of how he and the team have been recently but IMO Barkov is a legit top line player for years to come.
- belcherbd

Yes Barkov definitely has first line potential and Horvat second.

This rebuild is a perfect time to change he logo again. Maybe wait for a few years of suckage and then change it right before we get good again.

Linden has hinted at going with the stick in rink logo full time.

Hate it, it's so pedestrian, that said the birthing whale with Vancouver around it is worse. Why can't we just have the Johnny Canuck logo, that looks like a logo everyone could rally around.

Don't like that logo. I'm fine with the colours, although I'd prefer black and yellow again. That's the true Canucks to me.

Vancouver above logo pisses me off to no end.

Me too!

But, they've had the Haida-style orca since 1997, that's almost half their existence. I think they need to stick with it but drop the word-mark.

Then I suggest you find some children with some opinions to disagree with.

Kinda cool, but yellow is bad luck and I like the west coast colours.

What about the black and Yellow with Johnny?

Still seems a little amateurish...

How do you relate them to west coast colours?

Either colours change or logo changes.
