I don't care much about the team, but they've been a fantastic tool for exposing just how atrocious some of the GMs in the league really are.

There are bad deals in every sport, but there seem to be way more "This is a terrible deal from the very beginning" in the NHL

Teams being unable to properly evaluate their own players has been a problem for years and Vegas is basically making a mockery of other teams' mistakes.
