i have to admit i'm a fan of henry rollins. i have a couple of his books.

prophets of rage really never moved the needle too much for me. jsr would have been all over them though.

90% of the original Rage songs just don't cut it without Zack's voice. Nobody's fault really but they are most of the time a pale version of everything they represent. Like Mike Keenan 1995-1996's Blues.

lol yes exactly.

although i like the angry funk of what the band does no zack kind of sucks the anger out of the funk.

Yes.

They'll never admit it but it's all the fire and spite in De La Rocha's voice that elevates those songs from being just alright to great.

never understood live electronic music performances without vocals. They make their music with a DAW.. not really something you can properly reproduce live.
