we opened it to see how many were in there.

surprisingly there were 11. more than we anticipated.

i made the very grand proclamation that i was going to eat one for the first time in at least 2 years.

and i did.

i held the chip high for all to see and then i popped it in my mouth just like the old days.

i thought of you bumholes as i did this. however, the exercise only reinforced my feelings that i do not need potato chips in my life. i don't hate them. they're just boring. there's a very real chance that i may never eat another potato chip for the rest of my life. especially a plain one.
