I would move Reinhart straight up for him.

Personally I think Reinhart and O'Reilly play a similar game to the point where I think we would benefit more from a more dynamic offensive talent.

I think this is a reasonable observation. Back before we traded for ROR (and I had the benefit of seeing more than a few highlights and what others said about him) I thought he was similar to Girgensons but the more I see him the more the Rino similarities come through. Really, I think he's got the tenacity of girgensons and the vision of reinhart.

There's quite a few nice players in this year UFA market, obviously many won't be there by July, 1st but some will. This seasons shaping up for a top 8 pick for us, so I would rather see us keep our pick and what's left of our far system and just have money bags Pegulla buy us a winger in the offseason as apposed to paying out the nose for Johansen. Unless, of course, a deal could be swung with a guys like Ennis, Larsson, Foligno, Molson, Bogo etc.

I think he's a long term center. He's been too good to move.

If you were able to land Johansen for Reinhart, you have 2 upper echelon centers in the middle of their prime. Move Eichel to wing for a year or 2 and compete for the cup starting next season if you can upgrade the blue line.

Just the fact that it might be a high pick is the value in that piece.

He's only 23, got fantastic size/hands, and has seasons of 63 and 71 already. On pace for 70 again. A true 1c. And was a lottery 4th overall himself. Hes exactly what one hopes from that draft spot.
