Been watching the game since the Sabres inception and Brad May, a man that played the game for 18 years yet some posters here on Hockeybuzz feel they even know better than a man that actually played in the NHL for that length of time.

But I will say that I recall a debate with you where you once told me that anze kopitar wasn't elite and Jason pominville was the superior player to pavel Datsyuk...

Also, being in the league or a player doesn't necessarily mean u know more than everybody else. It's this kind of thinking that got mike milbury hired. The players he traded away coulda built a dynasty alone. A random guy off the streets coulda done a better job than him.
Even the great one wasn't an effective coach or a great eye for talent when he was with the yotes.

With how good O'Reilly has been, you can't move him to wing.

Would it mean you move Eichel to wing?

A top 3 center lineup of O'Reilly, Johansen, and Eichel is ridiculous, but you better win the cup inside of 3 seasons or it will quickly become unsustainable for the cap.

I would be VERY hesitant to include the 2016 1st pick as I think they will be picking very high and it could be the first overall after the lottery, or top 3.

Solid post. He's a rookie, it happens..when you're in a slump Mays right you have to move it quick and work that much harder.

I think this is also why he's not finding that fit with a group of wingers.

Imo a little time on ROR wing when ennis comes back could help. Reducing his responsibilities in the D zone and also taking pressure off to do it all on offense would help him think less and just play more.
