I think gudas is outstanding. Especially since he's come back. He has far more tools in his repetoire than I thought. He is a piece to keep going forward imo. - Just5

Sometimes, when I am alone, I imagine the Flyers had picked Max Domi instead of Sam Morin...
Kid has some saucy paws - YuenglingJagr
Kid has some amazing skill for sure, but he also has a whiny "You need to punch me" face like Barnaby had. And then there's the unfortunate fact that he's his father's son. Would have no problem seeing someone tune him up. |

I thought Vancouver was really cheating towards Ghost on the PP last night. You could see, whenever Giroux had the puck on a 5v4, the one forward was leaning towards Ghost a bit (can't really do it on a 5v3). That's something that Ghost will have to work through, but like he said, if they cheat to him, someone else gets more open. - jmatchett383
If Voracek really gets going they will stop cheating. Right now they seem to let Voracek be the one to beat because he hasn't produced. I think if Voracek pots a couple you'll see them start to sag down a little and leave Gostisbehere open more. |

Love or hate the Voracek moves. You cant argue with the win/loss results since it happened. |

Absolutely. If they keep cheating towards him, then feed it to Jake and let him blast away! |

The big picture for the Flyers is that they need to be able turn to either of their goaltenders with equal confidence. With the current tandem, they can do just that, especially when there is some healthy competition for the two goalies to push one another to play at the top of their respective games. - Bill Meltzer
Yep.
Also, I haven't really seen evidence of a goalie controversy in your threads. I view the Flyers current goalie situation as one of those good problems to have. They've got two legit #1 guys (imho) right now. The only problem I see is that as the team gets better over the next couple years I don't think they going to be able to keep them both happy in terms of role and playing time. But that's a good problem because when the time comes they'll surely be able to get what they need, perhaps the "last piece of the puzzle," to be a legit Cup contender again. |

I just wish Jake had a better slapper for that one timer.
Glad to see Mason play well. Just need another one against a Columbus team they should beat. That team is a mess mentally it seems. |

This is what I see. Teams don't respect voracek shooting the puck and they are collapsing on b Schenn and Simmonds. Their daring Jake on the pp and he hasn't produced |

I think Felix Sandstrom is our goalie of the future, but that might not be for another 6-8 years. |

Couturier looks like a different player. Seems to have more confidence. Also I notice when he is involved physically, like little scrums and get togethers in front of the net, he seems to play better those games.
That line seems to be putting together strong shifts and make a chance happen each time. |

Not in the threads here -- we have mostly hockey diehards here -- but the newspaper comment threads/Facebook group/call-in show crowd has been all over Mason and virtually annointing Neuvirth the second coming of Dominik Hasek. It's been over-the-top on both sides. My view in terms of two players competing is that things have a way of working themselves out. |

Bill,
I know it might be hard to predict but out of the goalie prospects we have who do you think has the best chance to be a number one in the future. |
