Nashville, by far, makes the most sense, for both teams. - BiggE
That's what I think.
But I would be ok moving Brayden Schenn in that deal even though he's playing well recently.
Brayden Schenn
Scott Laughton
Robert Hagg

for
Ryan Johansson
5th rounder(always need a 5th rounder in a deal)
But Nashville can beat that if they need. |

Yes, but both Crosby and Malkin are better when the other one isn't in the lineup. There's nfw they'll ever trade Crosby. The return they could get for Malkin would set them up for a good long time. - Scoob
I assume Malkin has a full NTC? That immediately makes things harder for the Pens to get full value. |

I agree. But I think they'll roll with Mason and Neuvirth at least through this season. Next year, if he keeps progressing, then you can work him into some games and make a decision. I know they have to make a decision at some point, but they have two goalies playing well right now, and since they're both controlled past this year, no need to rush Stolarz up any time soon. - jmatchett383
Plus I wouldn't mind Stolarz going into next season as the defacto number one next year in AHL. I know he was supposed to kind of split time with Labarerra this year but I wouldn't mind seeing him go in as the number one and see how he handles it. |

I kinda feel bad for Amanda Bynes. She's legitimately (frank)ing crazy. Like, she has severe mental issues. Sure, she made some bad decisions and takes no responsibility for her actions, but she also has mental problems. |

I just don't get why Mario would want to sell. Is he running out of cash? Figures the value is as high as it's going to get? Has something better he'd rather be doing? Is he just completely and utterly sick of hockey? - wolfhounds
Think that's what it is... Crosby/Malkin are at the zenith of their careers... the value of the team probably tanks along with their Cup chances in the next 5+ years... no doubt the fans will abandon them again, despite the shiny new igloo. |

She's from Canada so probably Labatt but yeah, sounds about right. Not sure what he'd be worth in a trade, but if he can handle her, kid's got the toughness of Donald Brashear. |

Not in the threads here -- we have mostly hockey diehards here -- but the newspaper comment threads/Facebook group/call-in show crowd has been all over Mason and virtually annointing Neuvirth the second coming of Dominik Hasek. It's been over-the-top on both sides. My view in terms of two players competing is that things have a way of working themselves out. - bmeltzer

Stolarz is already the number one in the AHL. Labarbera has been awful or injured all season. |

I know he is now.
Next year He goes in as the number one and have a back up like Ouellet or Knapp back up.
Different mind set when your going into the season as a the number one with pressure. |

I know it will take some time. I am not saying the Flyers made a mistake, but Domi's skill was undeniable. The Flyers took what they wanted...I wonder if Hextall would have done the same. Regardless of how valuable they end up being to their teams, Domi will always be the more exciting player to watch - YuenglingJagr
Domi's really broken out and would be great to have right now, but at the time of the draft most people wanted us to have taken Morrissey or Pulock over Morin. I don't recall Domi being mentioned that much. I'm not sure what's going on with Morrissey's AHL team but I'm pretty surprised he's been outscored by Morin so far this season.
Like you, Ristolainen was the guy I wanted going into the draft and if the Flyers had picked Morin over him (and it seems like they would have based on the video of their not so blurry draft board) it would have killed me. |

your giving up nothing of consequence for a 1st line center. they laugh at deal imo. |

I agree. I think to get their attention it would require something like Couturier or BSchenn + Gudas + Sanheim, which is too rich for my blood. |
