That being said, they could also all work together well. Each wants the puck on their stick but they all do have great passing ability. Might work well having 2 guy on the ice with you that you know want to take the shot instead of a guy who might pass.

I never expect them to go out and spend money on big names and shell out $100 million contract but I would like them to at least make it look they are trying to improve the team.

One final note. Last night Sabres goalie Chad Johnson stopped a franchise record 44 shots in a shutout. The previous record holder was Ryan Miller's 43 saves

Just found out that they just signed righty relief help in Dan Otero from the Phillies in exchange for cash.
I don't mind this move.

I forgot to ask your opinion Stripes on the closer role.

I think Manship is ready, to be honest when Allen was struggling at the start of last year I wanted them to insert Manship as the closer.
