I think his foot speed, but mostly decision making is a little too slow for the NHL level.

They need to get him a Vanek (well a version not quite as slow or bad defensively) but someone who has great finishing, offensive instincts and positioning too.

How about a reverse-offside rule of some sort; if an offsides is called that is reviewed and deemed to not have been really offsides, you get a penalty shot or something.

The league already has made officials on the ice to look like fools whenever a goal is reversed due to offsides that wasn't called that they might as well go whole hog.

Great spot for the arena (right on the strip).
Awesome during the playoffs.
Tons of Sabres fans when they play.
The new convention center is right behind the arena with all new restaurants surrounding it.
