You guys certainly outplayed us, and had more energy as well. Good luck the rest of the way, you guys are certainly much better. Wouldn't rule out a post-season appearance this year.

Wouldn't rule it out. The Panthers had much less talent when they made a run a couple years ago. The team looks inspired. Maybe it's an outsiders perspective, but the team looks like they actually want to win. No longer in tank mode.

The notion of "earning" your shootout bid is ridiculous. And it's league wide. Like it or not, the shootout is part of the game. I don't care if a guy put three pucks in his own net and then literally took a nap at center ice with a minute to go, if he's good at shootouts, he should be taking attempts.
