not sure if sad or funny....never heard of any of those band..give me social d, descendants, rancid, rev Horton heat, bouncing souls, dead boys, ramones and the like any day of the week
That's pretty cool, but Lateralus was a long time ago. While I will buy a new Tool record as soon as it's available, 10 000 Days wasn't too hot and I just don't know if I can get pumped for a metal record made by guys in their mid fifties.

I still enjoy each Nine Inch Nails album that comes out and Trent has to be at least mid 40's by now.

Yeah, lots of old dudes still got it. I stayed current up to With Teeth but I probably wouldn't put anything on past the Fragile which I think is massively underrated.

Do yourself a favor and give Hesitation Marks another listen. It's quite good.

I don't actually think I've heard it. I have no doubt it's decent, just at a certain point I got bored with nearly all the bands I liked when I was a kid. Like, I have probably 20 Beck albums, and I could barely stand his newest one.
I'm indifferent to Pearl Jam, I actively hate Green Day and the Foo Fighters, and most of the other alt rock stuff I grew up on I can't take anymore. Like, if I ever hear another Rage song it'll be too soon.
Nirvana and Radiohead though, never really got bored with them.
Man, lay off with the smiley faces. Just make a comment. A top ten records list is awesome, not at all what I meant by a year in review. - James_Tanner
Okay Man, no more smiley faces, you seem very hostel about them, James don't take yourself so serious.
