Sullivan said today that Geno's all in and Yohe wrote an article about Malkin being ready to put the team on his back. I'm glad someone hasn't given up yet...

This board has been way too much sunshine and lollipops lately. When are people going to start calling each other names and saying how much everything sucks?
- PensFan1103

I'll oblige. Pens threaten to move the team to Mexico City. Lottery held behind closed doors. Pens draft Matthews, everything is better.

I'll probably get called a few names after that one.

He didn't play very good (by his standards) yesterday honestly.
A lot of Panthers fans were hoping he was going to fall to our pick in the 2014 draft.

He should've been ejected before he put up his stats. That helmet to jaw hit on Norman was brutal. Norman runs his mouth relentlessly so I can't say I blame him. Played against Newton and David Johnson yesterday in my playoffs they combined for 113. Let's just say it didn't go well for me. I bought my son a Cam jersey for xmas and I'm considering burning it right now. And the Pens are still sucking balls

It would have happened last year when McDavid was available. I don't think Matthews is quite on that level

Lotto odds are much different this year, and it was a joke.

I don't think anyone is on McJesus' level since Crosby. But I keep hearing that Matthews is the closest so I would be amazingly happy if Pens somehow got him. Can you imagine the ire that would draw from other teams?
That alone would be worth it.

The only thing that could possibly piss fans off worse is if Edmonton won again.

This team needs to play a full 60 minute game. You know, like that other Pittsburgh team did last night!

Oh it would be a poop show. I mean it's looking like a real possibility right now the way this team is playing. Toronto fans would lose their poop about the lottery protected pick.

That other Pittsburgh team played the last 30. The first 30 Emmanuel Sanders ran wild on them.

Pens are at a ~1/5th chance of making the playoffs right now. Losing tonight in regulation all but seals their fate.

As long as the Capitals keep beating everyone in the Metro, I think our chance will stay decent. I mean, after the last 2 losses, we are pretty much idle ...

EDIT: Rangers are terrible.

Was gonna say the same thing. I just can't get a read on our defense. One drive they're semi-elite and the next they are one of the worst in the league.

We look like the Patriots of the past. Excellent offense and an average to below average defense that forces turnovers. Sounds good to me

If this team gets its head out of its ass, it can easily go on an 8-2 or 9-1 kinda run. Until February, being less than 15 points out of a spot is surmountable.

You know, I just want to say that the whole trading Crosby thing won't happen. He's the one player in the league that cannot be traded unless he came out and asked for one. He means too much to the fan base and the Penguins' brand to be traded.

Edit: To the person who said Florida wouldn't do Ekblad + 1st for Malkin, you are a crazy fellow.

if we're gonna talk about picks we'd rather have I would have MUCH rather gotten the Bengal's Tight End they drafted in 2013... And no, not an after the fact thing, felt like Heath had already been taking too much of a pounding by age 30 and we needed a replacement sooner than later.
