OBJ roasted Norman a few times yesterday, he should have caught that touchdown early in the game but he dropped it. He left Norman in the dust.. those cheap shots from both sides were uncalled for, and I hope he isn't suspended for next game... That's championship week in fantasy football. I just need 14.7 points in a PPR league tonight from Tim Hightower. - Pens_Burgh
That is no guarantee. Tim Hightower is a bad back on a bad team. The rediculous volume he got last week isn't sustainable and he wasn't efficient with his thirty touches |

Did Crosby leave the game early or get injured from a hit? Any idea what the injury is I didn't' get a chance to watch the game. |

Any brave predictions on tonight's game?
What if...there is a Christmas Miracle...and the Pens win?
Imagine how the Crosby Trade Talk will boil over if the Pens win and look good doing it?!?
And if Malkin leads the way!!
4-3 Pens...Malkin with 2g-2a
(yeah...okay...realistically...Jackets 3 Pens 1)

Not sure I'd call it a miracle to win. They are on a 5 game losing streak and playing a team in last place in the league. They can't lose them all (despite their best efforts to do so). I actually think they will win tonight if only to prolong the pain. |

Jackets 2, Pens shut out. We're not scoring tonight without Letang or Crosby against a team that's only purpose in life is to keep us off the board. |

I know that, but he's taken over Ingram's role. He will see 20-25 touches at least. I'm in a 1ppr league too so looks in the passing game will definitely help. I'd imagine he gets 3 catches or so.
Also Tampa Bay is one of the best run defenses in the league. Gurley had 21 rushes for 48 yards against Tampa this week . The game before against the Lions, Gurley had 140 yards and 2 TDs with an 8.8 avg. |

Don't remind me... Gurly knocked me out of the playoffs last week.... |

Ryan o'reilly looked great next to sid at the world championships earlier this year. I was hoping they'd make a move for him.
Maybe okposo in July? |

I tried trading for him early on.. Dude wanted OBJ so I had to pass. I was okay with Forte but I'm not digging the running back committee in CHI now... Finally flushed that turd known as Melvin Gordon last week too.. Worst 25th overall pick ever |

Right now it's looking like the best way to extend the Crosby-Malkin window is to sell this season with guys like Hornqvist, Perron, and Kunitz and hope to god Okposo and or Laad are available in the offseason and want to sign with us.
Laad-Crosby-Okposo would be a crazy punch to the mouth type of line with Malkin-Kessel coming in to dominate the worn down opposition with finesse. |

Hmmm.... Probably good news that Hornqvist is back on the top line, but with Crosby out you can't read into that very much. I would like to Hornqvist and Crosby back together again before passing judgement on whether or not Hornqvist needs to go. I wish they'd just reunite Plotnikov-Cullen-Fehr and give them third line minutes. Sullivan must really like Sheary...

I'm getting pretty close to full on tank mode. Someone told me on Pensburgh that the odds of the Pens making the playoffs when Therrien got fired was 35%. Pens chances of making the playoffs right now is at 19%. Sure, there is more season left to play, but there is much more of a hole too. |

Dubinsky shouldn't be playing tonight after that cheap knee-on-knee against Voracek on Saturday. It was great seeing how scared he was of Simmonds. Maybe the Pens should bring up Sestito from WBS and we will see how scared he is . |

Pens score 6 tonight. All of the Crosby haters flood the board and blame him for all that is wrong. |

Completely off-topic.. does anyone here still read the Pens Blog anymore? I used to read it a lot.. but now it's almost embarrassing to read at times. Jesse puts out some good stuff, but man their twitter is atrocious to follow. |

If Dubinsky does any of that cheap crap again tonight and goes after Malkin or whatever I will lose it with the team, we obviously need someone who can back up the stars on this team...watching Crosby get nearly decapitated by that piece of poop game after game is getting ridiculous! Someone end his career already! |

Bonino on the second line ... yuck. I think I'd rather have fragile Bennett there and people know my views on Bennett. |

Never liked Pensblog. I do like Jesse Marshall and listen to his podcast.
I like Pensburgh a lot but half the people on here would get banned quickly there because they do actually follow their posting guidelines. |

Thing is it doesn't even have to be a big guy who has experience fighting. It just has to be somebody, anybody willing to step up. Pens also shouldn't be the ones retaliating all the time, get your retribution in first and let them be the ones retaliating. I don't know if half the team has a heartbeat but I think history shows that Malkin gets some inspiration from things like that and lets face it Malkin is about our only hope right now. |

I remember when Dubinsky tucked tail and ran from Tanner Glass. He's the worst kind of a dirty vag!na. Dishes out dangerous hits and refuses to take his medicine. If I were running the team, Sestito would be up here with the sole reason of turning him into a bloody mess. The NHL refuses to do it's job so individual teams need to step up. |

That's where I'm at with this now...I agree, I tried to give the NHL a shot at actually enforcing rules/conduct but they obviously don't care or are just plain stupid...so then we bring up Sesito or sign Robbie Lawler to a 1 game contract and have him beat Dubinsky into the ground! |

Far from a brave prediction:
No tips, plus no screens, plus no rebounds, equal no goals. |
