Check out the demo of their track Big Boots/Manowar on YouTube if you never heard it. Very Bond-ish. It was going to be used on the Avengers movie(British Avengers, not Marvel) from the late 90's but they never finished it. Killer track. - hereticpride
big boots is the ultimate lost track by them
some really good live versions out there of it |

So at practice for Team Canada today, there were still the pairings...
Chabot-Hicketts
Fleury-Hickey
Sanheim-Dermott
McKeown
Very confused if they view Sanheim as their third pairing d man. We thought it was just because he's a lock and they wanted to test out others, but going into game action that doesn't seem to be the case. Does this seem odd? - Mononoke
You should only be concerned if he doesn't receive PP time. I'm all for watching him work his way up through the pairings. |

No, but Hicketts, for example is a repeat member and has family members on the staff. Little stuff like that happens. I'd be more concerned if Sanheim is in the Morin role from last year, where he was basically the 7th D - Jsaquella

Let his 5 on 5 play dictate how he's used by the end of the tournament. |

Morin was pretty much the 7th guy for the whole tourney last year. It was good for him, but Sanheim should get a bigger role than that. |

Flyers and yotes lead the league with 7 prospects in the tourney. I've got the 3 games DVRed tommorow. Flyers prospects in every one!
Oh No penguins prospects in the tourney at all. I love the holiday season! |

Morin's game didn't exactly jibe with the WJC. But Sanheim is all skill. On the big ice he feels extra dangerous. He might very well be the best d man on the roster. If he works his way up fine -- just hate to see him get shafted |

Does he feel this way? Is he the best defenseman on the roster?
All of our top prospects seem to be playing well right now with Morin stat wise being the worst but not that bad. There is a lot to be excited about regardless of how outsiders feel. |

If they're just letting guys audition, great. His skill should lock him into a top 4 slot. Morin got pigeon holed as the 7th guy and never really escaped. Granted his skill set is not as suited to the big ice as Sanheim's game of speed and quickness, but Hockey Canada has let politics get in front of guys earning a slot, and often it's not a huge deal, because there's such a deep pool of talent. |

So you think they announce the Simmonds trade right after midnight Sunday as soon as the freeze ends, or do they wait until a reasonable hour?
I mean, Eklund flat called it BS, so you know it's happening |

I'm open to a Simmonds trade but Simmonds in a Habs jersey would without question make me puke. |
