Prob in the minority but I prefer Strombo over MaClean which might not be saying much at this point. The new format will take some getting used to. I just hope that Sportsnet isn't stupid enough to renew the CBC's contract for HNIC. Time to move on from the CBC.

Im on the fence about if Id like him back or not....even IF he is clean.
Sure he'd do more than higgins though....

I suppose kassian for higgins could be a potential no risk trade...you can boot him off the team easy if needed but it could all pay off too, where-as losing higgins is no loss at all. So low risk there.

Kassian is a tough one. Sentiment would dictate that maybe the guy deserves another shot if he has cleaned up his act...but MNGT most likely has moved on from that whole situation. If JB risked taking Kassian back and he made JB look like an idiot in the midst of this rebuild that might be the kind of move a GM could lose his job over. I'd be 50/50 on seeing Kassian in a Nuck uni but it just probably will never happen...which is ok to.

- I totally forgot that the Canucks called up Cannata, not Bachman. So it's Cannata who's backing up.

- Burrows is a late scratch. Didn't take the warmup. Joey Kenward says he's out with an upper-body injury. So that means Vey and Kenins are both in.

- Looks like Biega will slot straight into Tanev's spot on with Edler (EDIT: or maybe not; Bartkowski is starting with Edler)
