Things to consider . Do we start turning Markstom into the lead goalie? Maybe then Miller asks to be moved . Cap space
Pedan had impressive outing against a young fast team. He made the Oilers keep their heads up and looking out for him. He was burnt once in the first , no damage done. They should re-sign him move weber out.
This is what we look like without Burrows and Higgins, easily can be replaced.
These small adjustments come to a savings . 14 .5 mil out less than 3 mil plus the cost of a back up coming back on the books
That is not even mentioning Vrbata and Hamhis and the 9.5 savings. - VANTEL
If you were a gm would you want Miller? |

I'm a forward, perhaps I'm biased. Perhaps simpler isn't the most accurate description. I just think he could play more of a north south game from the backend - CanuckDon
I'm sure you could make a case either way, but it's probably too late to do something so drastic. I think he just needs some time to develop some chemistry. He's a big guy with good hands that can drive the net, we've needed that forever. We just need to be patient. |

He is breaking down but he is decent. Regardless if we can move him or not we should start handing the reins to Markstrom and have miller playing half half |

Vey has had a good stint since being called up. More options. The clear cut thing is the Canucks can operate the same without the more expensive Burrows and Higgins - VANTEL
This may be true but burrows #1 asset is his playoff clutch goals. Anyone can be replaced regular season....not so for playoff performers.
the 4.5 tag is hard to swallow though |

That was back in 2011, secondly I don't think we need to worry about playoff goals this year
Burrows did not score 1 goal in the playoffs last year |

I think we're stuck with him until his contract runs out, which isn't the worst thing in the world, but Markstrom does need to play more and string a few games together. |

It's worth a try. But not while Horvat's centering the "shut down" line. |

They have been up tempo the last three games. Playing more like a second line |

I think that his wife got the wine collection in the divorce, so it's possible. |

He's definitely been playing his best hockey of the season, and Sven is starting to come around. I still think that Vrbata's letting them do all the heavy lifting. |

We're up at my grandparents for Christmas and they call him Fcking Vrbata. My grandpa says that he could play an entire game with a dozen eggs in his pocket and not break a single one.
The Coquihalla should be fun tomorrow, we've been getting dumped on. |

You can NOT train anyone to score big playoff goals.....some are just special that way. He's scored some BIG ones in our history
Historically burrows performance has always depended on his partnered linemates. Hes not w sedins and kesler is gone.... could be the difference maker if he finds someone to play with. Hopefully anyway

JV looked like mason Raymond - fast down the boards but not cutting inside. He has lost his confidence in my opinion and i wish he could go down to another league for bigger minutes. |
