Pedan had impressive outing against a young fast team. He made the Oilers keep their heads up and looking out for him. He was burnt once in the first , no damage done. They should re-sign him move weber out.

This is what we look like without Burrows and Higgins, easily can be replaced.

These small adjustments come to a savings . 14 .5 mil out less than 3 mil plus the cost of a back up coming back on the books

That is not even mentioning Vrbata and Hamhis and the 9.5 savings.

All good points and yes it may be time to move Markstrom into the starting role...maybe.

It's clear that Markstrom can hold teams to 1-2 GPG and those days for Miller appear to be over. Even with a crappier team Markstrom will seemingly give us more chances to win at this point so yes...it very well could be time to start moving Miller out.

Do they knock back the speed limit on the Coke in the winter time? I drove it this past summer and noticed the speed limit was 120kmh?? Even the infamous HWY 2 here in AB is capped at 110kmh which doesn't technically mean much...but still. Coquihalla with a 120kmh speed limit is brutal on black ice...

They don't knock it back, but at some point common sense has to come into play. We got a foot of snow here in Kamloops last night and I imagine it will be the same from here to Hope. If you try to do 120, you will die.

I went out with a dear friend last night and her BF, when suddenly he started talking Canucks. When I am with friends I temper back my thoughts and emotions when I speak face to face. So he then says to me I think we should trade the twins. I asked him why . He said because it is not fair they can't win and we would get a boatload of players back. He said a team like Nashville we could get Jones , Fiala and two firsts.

It was funny , I am not starting a discussion about trading the Sedins, but it was strange to hear a conversation with someone about a hypothetical rumor I started two weeks ago come full cycle.

I asked him if he heard of Hockey Buzz , but he didn't. He said he talks a lot with his friends about hockey. It made its way third generation. The same thing happened years ago when I started a Wayne Simmonds for Edler rumor.
